License

Your license key

The key belongs to the certifying provider named on the subscription, and it stays the same for as long as you subscribe. Each paid period it gets a fresh license for the app, and we email one too. On this page you can add your license to a computer, get the key back from a receipt, have the license sent again, replace the key, or move it to a new address.

This page is not connected yet. The licensing service is deployed but not yet switched on. Until it is, support@patientpapers.app reaches the person who can help.

Get the key back from the receipt

Paddle's receipt carries a transaction ID (it starts with txn_). Type the one from the most recent receipt — the latest payment is the one on file — and the key is shown on this screen. This is the route to use when the provider's address was typed wrong at purchase — the receipt went to whoever paid, and the key fixes the address below.

Have the license sent again

If the provider's license email never arrived, we can send the current one again to the address on file. It is a fresh copy of the license already paid for — not a new period. We answer the same way whether or not an address is on file, and we send at most one copy an hour.

Replace the key

Whoever has the key can replace it. The old key stops working the moment the new one is made, on every computer, so this is for a key that has leaked — not for a computer that needs its license renewed.

Move the license to a new address

Every license and every notice about the subscription goes to the provider's address on file. Change it here, with the key, and the current license is sent to the new address at once.
